


The aftercare of your surface is the most important activity you can do to maintain its performance.
All surfaces are dynamic and respond to changes and workload.
The surface should be harrowed or dragged in different patterns. The 2 diagrams above illustrate 2 ways in which this can be carried out.
For example:
Day 1 you could use the pattern in Figure 1 (top left). Start on the Centreline, turn right and complete all the passes required.
Day 2 use the pattern in Figure 2 (top right). Dragg the track first and then spiral out.
Day 3 use pattern in Figure 1 again. Start on the Centreline, turn left and complete all the passes required.
Day 4 use the pattern in Figure 2 again. Dragg the track first and then spiral out (in the opposite direction of Day 2).
Changing the pattern of the harrow passes improves the level of your working surface.
