Sophie Warren

Sophie Warren

Sophie Warren, 20yrs, works with horses full time and is currently competing Two Star eventing and Prix St Georges/Intermediate 1 dressage.

A member of the National Young Rider Eventing Squad and the Western Australian State Squad, Sophie is hoping to progress through the grades of Eventing and ultimately represent Australia at international competition.

She is part way through gaining her NCAS Level 1 coaching qualifications and hopes to continue to work with horses full time in the future.

Sophie has recently been selected to compete for Australia in the Young Rider Trans Tasman Team.

Sophie spent a few months in 2009 competing in NSW and VIC and on the way home also competed in Adelaide.

Sophie had great sucess winning Canberra ** and was placed in different other events with Let's Impress.

Let's Impress won the Equestrian Western Australia Horse of the Year award.  Other nominations were Headley Britannia, Ringwould Jaguar, Ben Along Time.

Sophie was the runner-up to Lucinda Fredericks for the Sport Star of the Year award.

In addition the Warren Family won the Special Service to the Sport award.

Robbie Soster began training with Major Miguel Tavora in June 2002, when she was 13 years old. Riding a cremello gelding, Robali Irish Cream the combination had extra-ordinary success over the following years.
